Dr. Leana Wen is CNN’s medical analyst, who for two years was the strongest advocate for masking up and especially in schools. Wen, now admits that having her own child masked has harmed his development.
Some months ago, Wen admitted that masks don’t work to stop the spread of COVID, further declaring that “the decision to wear a mask should shift from a government mandate to an individual choice.”
Wen recently advocated for the Biden administration to “further restrict the activities of the unvaccinated”, along with segregating society of the jabbed & un-jabbed.
She asserted, “It needs to be hard for people to remain unvaccinated,” saying that the unvaccinated need to be demonized and discriminated against on a daily basis).

Wen previously stated that kids returning to school need to be forced to wear face masks and subjected to weekly COVID tests until they are fully vaccinated.
Now, Wen says masking children have too many downsides.
Many on Twitter have asked–how did I go from being extremely cautious with #covid19 precautions for nearly two years to now resuming pre-pandemic activities, including not masking my young kids at school?

The Washington Post recently had an article in that Wen states, “It became clear that the goal I’d hoped for — containment of covid-19 — was not reachable. This coronavirus is here to stay.”
“With this new, indefinite time frame, the benefit-risk calculus of mitigation measures shifted dramatically. I was willing to limit my children’s activities for a year or two but not for their entire childhood.”
Wen also admits that “Masking has harmed our son’s language development and limiting both kids’ extracurriculars and social interactions would negatively affect their childhood and hinder my and my husband’s ability to work.”

It’s been reported that the masking & lockdowns has lowered IQ levels, caused clinical depression, slowed verbal (motor) and cognitive performance, eating disorders, self-harm, and serious delays in learning.
