In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, many Americans are exercising their Second Amendment rights and buying guns and ammo to ensure their family’s safety. At the same time, local governments are asking “non-essential” businesses to close, including gun stores.
President Trump wants to keep gun stores open because he, like many others, believes they are essential businesses.

This new guidance coming from the White House has caused quite a stir in the anti-gun crowd. Believing that Trump is sowing fear to increase gun sales.
Not only is the Second Amendment a crucial right, but it’s also part of our national identity. Having guns in more homes will keep more Americans safe from would-be criminals, especially during a crisis situation. That makes gun stores extremely essential.
