You have been prepping for months. You have a stockpile of water, food, wood for the woodstove, medical supplies and plenty of ammo. Your bug-out vehicle is in the garage and all prepared to bolt. It’s even locked and loaded with all the bug-out supplies you and your family would need. First aid kit and extra medical bag? Check! Baby bug-out bag? Check! Dog’s bug-out bag? Check!
As you finish putting the tent next to everyone’s bags and the vehicle’s survival kit, something in your gut tells you there are still necessities you’re forgetting.
Chances are you may be right. Check out this item most people never even consider.
Was that little object in your bag? How about some of the following most-forgotten items:
- Anti-diarrhea medicines
- Fiber pills
- Extra set of prescription glasses
- Duct tape
- Mylar blanket
- Garbage bags
- Shemagh tactical scarf
Most people won’t even consider these items until SHTF and they are somewhere without them. Keep in mind when packing your bug-out bag to pack items that are lightweight and can be used in more than one way, like coffee filters. It’s always better to be safe and overprepared than sorry and underprepared.
